Curated by Y.ES director Claire Breukel and commissioned by CONTEXT Art Miami, To Jump Rope explored notions of migration, specifically how movement between places is dictated by socio-political conditions, as well as the impact of being torn apart from "home."

...Closing Distances... is a selection of Salvadoran artist's work from the Mario Cader-Frech collection on the 3rd floor of the 11 11 Lincoln Road office building. Curated by Y.ES, the exhibition features work by Mayra Barraza, Ernesto Bautista, Karlos Carcamo, Rodrigo Dada, Rafael Diaz, Mauricio Esquivel, Melissa Guevara, Walterio Iraheta, Ronald Moran, Irvin Morazan, Luis Paredes, Crack Rodriguez and Simon Vega. ...Closing Distances...investigates themes of violence, politics, public transport, architecture, and more, through explorations of street culture as well as the human the body and its relationship to the urban environment--approaches that are rooted in the reality of the everyday.

Y.ES participates in "The Host," a video series organized by curator Anissa Touati on view at Cine Tonalá. Y.ES screens Y.ES again and again an exhibition of four video works by Crack Rodriguez and Abigail Reyes. Planas, 2014 (Rodriguez) and Si señor, 2016 (Reyes) use repetition to highlight the absurdity of enforced repetitive action, while Superstition Avidity: Circumstances of Remains, 2014 (Rodriguez) and Ser Secretaria, 2016 (Reyes) offer narratives that question the way in which cultural norms are perceived. Other participating organizations include Fundacion Casa Wabi in Puerto Escondido, Mexico and Ladera Oeste in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Y.ES participa en "The Host", una serie de vídeo organizada por la curadora Anissa Touati en el Cine Tonalá. Y.ES presenta “Y.ES una y otra vez”, una exposición de cuatro obras de vídeo por Crack Rodríguez y Abigail Reyes. “Planas”, 2014 (Rodríguez) y “Si señor”, 2016 (Reyes) utilizan la repetición para enfatizar lo absurdo de la acción repetitiva forzada, mientras que “Superstition Avidity: Circumstances of Remain”, 2014 (Rodriguez) y “Ser Secretaria”, 2016 (Reyes) ofrecen narrativas que cuestionan la forma en que seperciben las normas culturales.
